Law on the Prevention and Combating of Racism and Xenophobia (Law No. 134(I)/2011)

Implements EU Directive 2008/913/EC on combating certain forms and expressions of racism and xenophobia by means of criminal law.

• Hate Speech: Criminalizes hate speech, including expressions that incite violence or hatred against individuals or groups based on race, ethnicity, religion, or nationality.
• Penalties: Provides for penalties for individuals who engage in or propagate hate speech.
